Replacing HDMI port Pi 3 B+

Wed Oct 03, 2018 2:47 pm

Was wondering if the HDMI port could be replaced with a 0.5mm 19 pin fpc connector? Like the adaptors you can get for the HDMI to fpc cable but I want it directly on the board.

Looks like it will work in Eagle, pinouts are backwards but that doesnt matter

It's 0.5mm pin pitch, so why shouldnt it work? Pin assignment should also be no issue as you will need a custom adapter for the other end of the FPC
