How to Clone Bootable USB Flash Drive to MicroSD Card

Tue Sep 18, 2018 12:41 am

I have been trying to clone my bootable usb pen drive to microsd card. I have been using usb pen drive for RPI3, But facing Power Issues, Pen drive is consuming more power hence i want to move to MicroSD Card without loosing any current data.

How can i clone different hardwares (usb --> microsd)

I tried AOIMEI Disk Backkupper but i am getting "random: crng init done" and PI Stucks...at boot

Please throw some light.

If your OS is raspbian with desktop, use SD Card Copier.

Source: Boot USB flashdrive
Target: MicroSD card in USB card reader (must be SDHC compliant).
"Don't come to me with 'issues' for I don't know how to deal with those
Come to me with 'problems' and I'll help you find solutions"

Some people be like:
"Help me! Am drowning! But dont you dare touch me nor come near me!"
