Problems encountered when I tried to boot my Raspberry Pi

Hi there, I am a beginner using RPI and try to build a computer vision + machine learning programs
but I encounter some problems with the system installation:

1) Version: Raspberry Pi Model 3 V1.2 2015
2) Installation method: NOOBS, following the direction on the Raspberry Pi official website

Problems encountered:
1) No display after it shows Raspbian has been installed
2) after I modify the config.txt and insert microSD again, does not show anything

Things I tried to debug the problem:
1) increase the current output from 1A to 2.4A, which should not be a problem for HDMI output right now
2) Modify the config.txt file and comment out these lines

hdmi_safe=1
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=82 # as I am using 1080p monitor with 60Hz output frequency

3) erase all the format and reinstall with NOOBS

Current Status:
Black screen all the time and not showing anything.


Previously I first tried to use Ubuntu core and it has a similar problem, is there anything else worth to try in order to get the system installed and work properly?

Usually somebody will point you to go to the "Boot Sticky" section

but before that some questions

a. What is the format used for the microSD card? FAT32? exFAT? (the latter is wrong format)
b. Have you tried flashing the microSD card with raspbian-stretch image using Etcher and booting from it?
c. Have you tried installing to another microSD card and booting from it?

e. What are you using for a power supply?
