Eagle files for Compute Module

Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:31 pm

Hi,

Im trying to find Eagle CAD files for a basic Compute Module Board breakout board with USB/LAN or Wifi some GPIOS that I could modify to my own needs. But it proved to be way more difficult to find something on the internet.. Do you know where I could find something like that?

Thanks!

Only. OrCAD files are officialy released https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... gnfiles.md

You can try to import them into Eagle (but I don't know if it works).

Or, simply start with a DDR2 socket package, add the symbol and your device is ready (should take you no longer than 10min as you can find the symbol in an elements14 library).

Think you will not find a 'generic' break out board for Compute Module out there. Simply due to the fact that every user has their own requirement. I i.e. did not even add a USB connector because I'm using different connection method for interfacing to a USB hub.

Here is what I'm talking about https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 1#p1361021

Here is a basic layout in Eagle for the CM3 I just put up. It is based on the CMIO board and uses many of the same parts. I think the only one I changed was the tiny BGA TVS diodes on the HDMI port to a part that was a little larger.
