If you dont use the proper recommended power supply for your RPi, then there is no way to fix the problem.
"Don't come to me with 'issues' for I don't know how to deal with those
Come to me with 'problems' and I'll help you find solutions"

Some people be like:
"Help me! Am drowning! But dont you dare touch me nor come near me!"

What kind of USB port does your laptop have? Which model of Pi did you try to run from it? did you try to power the Pi through its normal power connection, or by some other means, such as GPIO pins?

At a guess, the laptop may not have been able to maintain 5v output and--depending on the model of Pi--may not have been able to supply enough current. This could have led to corrupting the SD card.
