Unity in Raspberry Pi 3 or other small computers?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask.
I'd like to run a Unity game in Raspberry Pi 3, however I heard it's not recommended though I haven't tried yet.

If it is the processor that is limiting the performance of gaming, can someone let me know if other small computers can achieve this, such as Nanopc-T4, ASUS Tinker Board S, RockPro64?

I thought I had seen something about Unity on Android and since most Androids run on ARM with OpenGLES , one day on Pi's?

However the push now is Aarch64, ie 64bit Android and Raspbian is still only 32bit.
Gentoo64 to Aarch64 with OpenGL runs well on Pi3's.
I managed to get Blender for Artist working on Gentoo64, so the tools are getting closer to usable too.

Tim Skillman has done some impressive OpenGLES 3D stuff even on Zero's.
Eric Anholt and others are working to bring OpenGL/Vulkan to Videocore.

Maybe one day we will see a Unity/Vulkan/VC4/Aarch64 combo.
Has anyone done it?
Someone could be working on a version of a game right now?

Yes I mean the Unity Engine. Technically I can install an Android/Windows image on Raspi, deploy the Unity game to Android/Windows platform, run on Raspi. However I heard the performance is not very good (under 30fps is ok). Not sure what is limiting the performance here.

There is no official Windows Desktop version offered for the Raspberry Pi SBC.

The only ways of running Unity apps/games on a RasPi is installing Windows10/Android on your RasPi, however Android is very slow on a RasPi and I haven't tested Windows10, people say that it loads more than 15 mitutes. To my mind, the only way to make games for Raspberry Pi is using another engines, like Urho3D which is very Unity-like and officially supports Raspbian and ARM platforms, or idTech3 engine, also known as Quake3 engine, but it's very limited comparing to Urho3D.

Hmm I thought I had replied on this thread but maybe it was a different one.

For what it's worth another approach is to use Unity's WebGL target. I did some tests with https://github.com/zfergus/unity-exampl ... kGame3rdPS last year. That simple example takes about 1 minute to load (not as bad as 15 minutes) and plays at about 4 fps. This is due to Firefox and Chromium's lack of GPU acceleration on the Pi. Rock64 or any of the other boards named would have the same limitation.

Sakaki has just released a new Gentoo64, it has GL support

Have not tried this new version yet but previous releases can run WebGL examples sort of.

I use these to test Chromium and Firefox, which also have new versions in this release.
The Aquarium sample chugs the most but gets faster and better with each new release.
Those samples are much more complex than the Unity ones.

Only WebGL 1.0 examples not WebGL 2.0, the Pi's hardware/GL driver is not good enough.

I gave this a shot on a Pi 4 now that Chromium reports both WebGL and WebGL2 acceleration on Buster.

From that unity-examples repo, both TankGame3rdPS and Asteroids take about 20 seconds to load. Plays at what feels like 20 fps in the default window size, and the tank shadows now render.

Things get notably choppier in full screen mode, and in all cases Firefox renders at about half the framerate of Chromium.

All in all, simple 2D and 3D demos are playable now which is a huge step up from before.
