U.FL antenna for Pi 3B+

Fri Aug 03, 2018 5:32 pm

Hi I am setting up a bluetooth gateway with a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and was wondering if there is a way to boost the range using an external antenna. I have seen a few examples on Pi Zero and Pi 3B but has anyone done it on a B+?

Since it breaches all of the RPF's WiFi and BT radio certification you won't find any details of how to do that on here.

Changing the antenna will break compliance for whichever country you are in, and may even break the law as well. So I am afraid you are on your own on this one. We advise you not to change the antenna.
