Touchsreen and Hdmi trouble (Lakka)

Mon Jul 30, 2018 8:55 pm

I recently bought an official 7 inch touchscreen for my pi3.

I only only use the program Lakka.

Unfortunatly, since I connected the screen, my hdmi output is not working. (Black screen)

The only way I found to make it work is to edit config.txt with a lcd_ignore=1 command, but this is not user friendly as well.

Do yo have a better solution for me to switch the dsi port and the hdmi port easily ?

Thank you

I found a simple solution that I will share with you guys.

-I have installed Noobs on a micro sd card ;
-On the first boot, I have selected Lakka + Lakka Dev to install. So, it created 2 partitions with 2 config.txt on the same sd card ;
-I have edited both config.txt with those differents settings :

Config.txt on Lakka :
lcd_ignore=1, hdmi_hotplug=1,
hdmi_boost=4 and hdmi_safe=2

Config.txt on Lakka reg :

So, when Noobs boot, I cant selected with the touche screen on witch partition Lakka will boot. Lakka Dev for the Hdmi port or Lakka reg for the dsi (touchscreen) port.

It works perfectly !

Have a nice one and thanks for you help.
