My Pi won't boot after installing Pi Camera. Only power red light on and active green light is not.

PLEASE HELP.
I'm using Raspberry Pi 3B+. OS: Raspbian.
My Pi was connected through HDMI to my Dell monitor, when I was trying to install Pi Camera. Unfortunately I had it installed in the wrong direction and suddenly the monitor went black. I unplugged the Camera right away and tried to reboot by cutting the power source and reconnect the power.

That's when I found it wouldn't boot, and ONLY the red power light was on. The green ACT light is off.

SD card works well on my other Raspberry Pi (I got another 3B).
The monitor works well when connected to my other Raspberry Pi 3B.

It's weird that one of my friends had the EXACT same problem while installing the Pi Camera(But i'm not sure whether he had made the same mistake as I did, even though he asserted that he installed the camera in the right way). He just got his Pi back to the factory to examine.

I know i made a stupid mistake, but PLEASE help. And if further information is needed please reply and let me know! THANKS A LOT!!

What is your power supply and power cord to the RPi. It sounds like the camera is loading the supply rails and a better supply or cord is needed. Cell phone chargers and cords are notoriously inadequate and the 3B+ is thirsty so a supply that was previously enough might be below threshold on the 3B+ when the camera is plugged in.

Hi brother! I did the same mistake on my pi 4. But its showing only rainbow screen and nothing else. I replaced new sd card but still fails to reebot. If u got the solution plz tell me too
