Any software for soundcard playback input

Sat Jul 14, 2018 5:48 am

For example I have a sound card on my Rpi, and let's say in the input is my phone with a aux cord. So is their a way to hear the input from the Rpi through hdmi out, or Bluetooth device etc. I'm not trying to capture or record the sound, just hear it. I already heard a little bit of the sound with audacity but I had to record it, to hear it.

Also maybe instead of software their is some kind of terminal device command i could use for play back input.

What sort of phone OS?
What sort of rpi?
Which OS on the rpi?
Which soundcard on the rpi?
Which type of files/stream from the phone?
What do you want to connect the output to and how?

Good luck
