B and X buttons are inverted in games but not menu

Thu Jul 12, 2018 10:55 pm

I am using:
-Kiwitata SNES USB controller
-Pi 3B+
-Latest retropie

Even after configuring the controller in both the main configuration in the menu, and in the retroarch menu, the B and X buttons are inverted in games, but not the menus. I have even tried configuring B as X, and X as B, but when I boot up any game they are still inverted.

I'm new to Raspberry Pi, so I'm sorry for my stupidity, but I feel like I've tried everything.

I'd suggest trying the retropi forums.

Personal rant:
The Raspberry Pi is a learning platform, not a games console, torrent box or media player. That it can be used as such, is an annoying bonus.

Oh well,, then you should remove the gaming sub forum from this forum, that will fix people asking question about retropi or gaming.

he did say it was a rant, but please ignore him... Play nice please!

Still he might be right that the retropie forum might provide better answers.

Yeah sorry, I was in a bad mood when I wrote that. In hindsight, it was unnecessary.

I suggested the retropie forums because this deals directly with their software, which is 3rd party to the Pi. You may get an answer here if someone who experienced the same comes along, but you are far more likely to get an answer there where the people there deal with stuff like this daily.
