Some official RPI 7" touchscreen resolution issues with lineage

Hi there,

First of all im completely new to this.. I bought a pi 3 b + with a 7 inch touchscreen to create a car pc.

I found the kodi one but had no luck due to te fact that it's not updated for the model 3

Q1: Is there an update? if yes please provide me an img.

So I flashed linage and wanted to go from there, I't works fine on my computer monitor using hdmi. But when I connect the pi to the touch screen, the screen is of set to the left

Q2: how can I set te correct resolution?

I found the kodi one

The kodi what? Kodi is a multimedia application, not an OS or distro.
Whether it works on a pi3 depends on the OS on which it is installed.
So what OS + version do you use?

Lineage is a version of Android.
PINN can install Lineage and there is an option to configure it for the RPF 7" touchscreen.
So have a look in https://sourceforge.net/projects/pinn/files/os/lineage/ at the files:

lineage_-_touchscreen_boot_lin.txt
lineage_-_touchscreen_system_lin.txt

To see what configuration is needed to use LineageOS on the RPF 7" touchscreen.

Thanks I found an img from someone who created another version of android for the RPI which works well but, I decided to use Raspbian with Kodi

Well, it would make it a bit easier for potential helpers if you get the spelling right...
And you don't have to shout; my hearing is not that bad.

Moved thread to android, and repaired the spelling mistake in the original subject line, linage to lineage.

If I may say so, don't use Android on a PI, use Raspbian, the version of KODI for raspbian (OSMC or LIBRELEC) works fine on a PI.

Also ask just one question per thread.
