Rpi don't reconnect to wifi

Thu May 24, 2018 3:56 pm

Hello,

I couldn't connect to my rpi for some time by my standard way - via ssh over wifi. So I plugged in ethernet and restarted the wlan0 interface. Problem is that I am not always near my device, so I can't rely on that. Simple ifdown and ifup solved the problem. I don't know how this state occurred [ I did hard restart on my router & AP some time ago, maybe that is how? ], but I'd like to know, how to fix that in the future..

Is there any setting or any script or something for rpi, so that it'll reconnect automatically, if needed?

Thanks

ifup and ifdown don't work with Stretch. Which OS/version are you using?
