VPN, access from outside... Network through crossover wire

I've configured my raspberrypi's network with a crossover wire connected to Windows 7 (this PC has wifi network). In Windows I've configured a bridge of net between the conection wireless and the LAN of Windows. In my raspberrypi I've conection to Internet because I've configured the eth0 interface with a static address. I've tested ssh and vnc but now I want to use VPN or a tunnel for have a better security. And this don't working and I think that it's because I haven't a IP assigned for the router or it can be that I need to open some port and work with the public ip and a port.

Anyone know how to do this? Do you know some good tutorial?
In Windows I used Putty and thightvncviewer
Besides, if I want to do other things as a server I think that I can't do them with a IP not assigned for the router. And I would like to know whether with my current network configuration I can do anything as if I had an IP assigned for the router.

You could try OpenVPN because it's safe:
