df = Segmentation fault

Sat Apr 21, 2018 7:39 am

Hi all, if I run the command "df" or "df -Bm" I get "Segmentation fault"?
Any ideas?

The file is corrupt. Is it just that command? Generally if one file is corrupt it's hard to place much trust in the others so I would consider re-imaging your SD card.

After formatting and restoring my back up, I got Segmentation fault again after a few days, so I formatted and reinstalled clean, few days later, Segmentation fault again, would this suggest a faulty SD card?

Just in case anyone is curious I ran a test on the SD card with h2testw and this was the result,

Code: Select all

The media is likely to be defective.

H2testw version 1.3

So a new SD card it is then :)
