Rather than posting a emoticon and oversized text item on here where Kali IS NOT SUPPORTED. Try posting your query on
http://forums.kali.org/ where Kali IS supported.
first impression of this community: not impressed.
Hi
Have to say, this forum is superb for support, honest. I have tried to get support over on the kali forums, with two detailed and troubleshooting type posts, and each time I have received a rather officious warning private message. I really am not impressed with the lack of suppoprt over there, here though, I have to say the support has been superb.
Re your issue; I too have tried to get kali linux running on my 3B+ - but the official kali repo does not yet support this Pi model. However, the good news is that there is a repo called re4son, which I have managed to get up and running on my 3B+, but the bad news is that it does seem to cause errors and glitches. As I said, I have asked twice for help on the official kali forums and each time have been told off as if I were a little child by a very impersonal private message. If you seek help from them, good luck with that
Some of the issues I have experienced with the kali install from re4son are;
[*]no sound at all - HDMI or 3.5mm
[*]lack of fixes for ALFA WiFi cards on specific chipsets
[*]errors galore on rebooting (too many to list here)
By all means drop me a reply on here or maybe we can exchange email details to see if we can get it sorted.
