Google AIY Voice Kit - Which operating systems are supported. If you don't know than please ask someone.

If you don't know than please ask someone who you think may know, it's urgent. Do I have to compulsorily use the image they provide at https://dl.google.com/dl/aiyprojects/ai ... est.img.xz (official OS image for Google AIY Voice Kit)? If not than can someone guide towards what to do if other operating systems are allowed with AIY Kit. ANy reference to a project or resource or similar stuff is most welcome.

The pre-built image is Raspbian ONLY and not RPi3B+.

The code on Github can run on any Linux that runs on your RPi (as long as it has the kernel drivers for the hardware).

ANSWER
Hey Dugie thanks for the reply, I got the answer on the Google AIY github page. They have clearly given what to do in case you are using your image of Raspbian (or any OS maybe) on this page https://github.com/google/aiyprojects-r ... HACKING.md .
