pi wifi access point with pia vpn

Sun Mar 11, 2018 7:08 pm

I've been tinkering about with my pi 3 for some time now trying to set up a wifi access point, to which i can connect devices in my home, to connect to the internet via a secure vpn connection.

I've searched high and low and can only seem to find a patchwork of guides on how to achieve this. I've been able to set up the hotspot with the documentation as outlined here:

https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... s-point.md

I've also followed a few other guides on how to set up a vpn connection with private internet access:

https://gist.github.com/superjamie/ac55b6d2c080582a3e64
https://pimylifeup.com/raspberry-pi-vpn-access-point/
https://www.novaspirit.com/2017/06/22/r ... ter-w-pia/

The issue is that when I connect to my new hot spot, and I check my IP on https://www.iplocation.net it is showing my current location.

Appreciate any help if anyone has been a complete guide on how to achieve this or might know what I am doing wrong.

Thanks in advance

You can use this as a starter for 10 and adapt it.. Also works with raspbian stretch
