XMBC music playing issue

Sun Oct 21, 2012 6:13 pm

Hi folks,

I turned my Raspberry in a mediacenter since few hours and I've just try to play some music.
There is a problem when a music start, there are two or three "gliches" which are VERY unpleasant.
A word about my configuration, files are on my windows network (1Gb/s), no problems with other devices like my PS3 etc. the raspberry is running Xbian, sound comes trought HDMI.

Those glitches are random (if I replay the same song, they're not at the same time), they are on every songs, and of course, I checked my songs and they're all good.
I made two records with my phone.

This is related to a known bug they are working on...
xbmc will use all your CPU just displaying the rss feed, so disable that and any visualizations.
I would also do a fresh install of the official OS, update it and use the xbmc deb.
