como usar webcam integrada en el monitor - how to use webcam integrated in the monitor

Wed Feb 21, 2018 9:23 pm

Hola!

Muchas gracias

Hello!

I'm starting with my raspberry pi 3 and I use an Asus VK246H monitor that incorporates a webcam in the frame. Connected via HDMI with other operating systems I could use the webcam, I'm trying with Raspbian and I can not.

Does anyone know what I should do?

The only thing I have done was to activate it in the section of the raspi-config file in option 5.
I do not know how to find out if Raspbian has detected and installed it.

Thank you very much

https://www.asus.com/Monitors/VK248H/ say
Real-time Video Communication ....
Plug-and-play for easy connection and easy use through the USB interface without installing extra drivers.
...
so, did you connect the USB cable to RPI USB port?

did you install
sudo apt-get install qv4l2
for testing usb cam?
