I have installed the latest Raspbian and everything was working fine until I remove some packages from add/remove software. After that, my Pi3 can no longer recognize any USB pen drives. I hope someone can help me to bring it back. I don't want to reinstall the Raspbian again because it will take me a long time to install everything back.
Thank you.
What does the
lsusb and
usb-devices commands report with & w/o a usb drive plugged in? (To put it another way - is a drive being detected but not being mounted and seen by the filemanager perhaps, rather than "not being recognised")
Trev.
Still running Raspbian Jessie or Stretch on some older Pi's (an A, B1, 2xB2, B+, P2B, 3xP0, P0W, 2xP3A+, P3B+, P3B, B+, and a A+) but Buster on the P4B's. See: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi/raspiidx.htm
