We have a new Raspberry Pi with NOOBs on it. We set it up with the default desktop OS.
It works fine on a HDMI monitor in my office, but when plugged into the TV (also via HDMI), the display blinks black briefly every second or so. It's regular, and I think I can see it doing it during boot up as well as once the OS is loaded.
It's plugged directly into the TV and I have tried other cables etc.
I've fiddled around with the settings in /boot/config.txt quite a bit to no avail, trying different groups and modes, and upping the boost. Even in safe mode it does the same thing (just with a daft big resolution).
I feel like I'm missing something. Where else could I look to try and diagnose this?
