Attachments to what?

Email, PDF file, Word file, post?

I would start with the documentation for what program or service you are using. For this board there are some FAQ, Frequently Asked Questions, about this. There also may be some prerequisites that need to be meet before one can add attachments. An alternative would be to use on an online storage site like Google Drive or DropBox to upload the file to and then share the link to that location.

If you are referring to the forum attach tool then JPG or zip works but if you put a zip then I am not going to open it.
Photos must be scaled down so much that they are almost useless. Instead use a free image sharing site such as imgur.com or any free site that does not require the recipients or forum users to create an account or log in. Then post the link here.
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated RPiOS Buster w/ Desktop OS.

I need help with some problems I’m having setting up cncjs on my rp3. I just wanted to upload the log file and some screen output They are text. I pasted them to a post (viewtopic.php?f=91&t=204353#p1268084) but it seems to be a lot to page through and thought it would be best to make the info available to who ever might want to scan it, I unfortunately don’t know enough pull out the important stuff because I don’t know what is important. You can take a look at my post and see what I mean about it being a bit much much for everyone to page through, if this is a dumb idea, tell me and I will forget it.

Just copy / paste your text in to your post and put code tags around it.
