How is GBA emulation on RPi3?

I'm thinking of buying a freeplay CM3, and so I was just wondering, how is GBA emulation really? Since it's the gba form factor, I'd hate for Pi 3's GBA emulation to be laggy or with glitchy audio. Does it run full speed, or is it merely "playable"?

It's fully playable, the P3 has plenty of power to emulate a GBA.

The CM3 is a daughterboard, it does nothing by itself.
