Serial screen for Raspberry Pi 3

Hi everyone, I have a seral screen with connector for UART pins and I'd like to use it with my pi, I'd like to display Raspbian desktop on it.
How can I do? I try to connect it to GPIO and it starts but I don't know how to set RX and TX pins. I'd like to display my desktop on it when I don't have HDMI connected to my pi. It's possible?

I suspect that your "serial screen" accepts only ASCII characters. If so you will only have a command line console, not the full desktop GUI.

Abd what type of interface does the screen have? If it is true RS232 or 5 volt TTL levels, you cannot connect it directly to the RPi GPIO serial port as that uses 3.3 volt levels and you risk fatally damaging the RPI.

Technically possible but will require a custom software driver. Also it appears to have a 5 volt signal interface cf the 3.3 volt levels of the RPi.

The resolution is only 176 by 220 which is not very useful for a desktop interface.

My advice would be to forget this screen and use one of the more common ones that has proper RPi support.
