My project has two channels that have an RF detector diode on each channel attached to an external antenna. The output range of the diode is 0.01vdc to 5vdc. The Data Acquisition card would need to have A/D on board, sample 1 million samples per second, and have enough smarts to pick out the peak RF value while maintaining a running average of the peaks of a 30 minute time slot. The DAQ card would have to make the peak and average available to the RPi every 2 seconds for the RPi to process and place on an RS485 bus. I can live with 2 DAQ cards so long as the single RPi can handle their input. I have not been able to source a DAQ card that will do the job. Does anyone have suggestions??
