Wristband that tracks where you are in a house

What I'm trying to do is create a wristband that uses like a Bluetooth watch or something like that to communicate with a raspberry pi to turn on lights and things when I enter the room. Anyone know how to do this?

Maybe you could make a IR LED on your wrist that flashes at 38Khz then have a 38khz IR receiver in each room and when it detects the flashing IR then it knows your there :)
