adding wifi to cm3l/io board setup

Tue Nov 14, 2017 4:41 pm

Using CM3 lite & the standard compute I/O board...found out it doesn't have wifi...so no internet. What is easiest way to add wifi & set up, so I can access the internet to do sudo update & upgrade, and install other packages?

do you just plug in & it starts working (no files/adjust needed)?
Is this a special item for the PI, or would any such device from Microcenter or Walmart plug & play?

Well the one I linked to is the Official Item so yes it is fully supported in Raspbian Operating System.

There is a list here of some other compatible USB Wireless:
