Expand Filesystem - command line

Raspi-config has option "Expand Filesystem". Is possible to run this command from command line?

Expand filesystem is rarely needed anymore as both NOOBs and the standalone install of Raspbian will automatically expand the filesystem on first boot.

raspi-config is just a script so you can browse the script to see how expand is done.

Code: Select all

nano /usr/bin/raspi-config
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated Raspbian Stretch w/ Desktop OS.

Yes. Just do "sudo raspi-config"

I have found solution:

Code: Select all

raspi-config --expand-rootfs
