AVCONV: "-vol" doesn't works

Mon Oct 16, 2017 12:27 am

Hi. I want to change the volume level of the videos I am ripping with avconv but "-vol" stopped working. I used it so many times but since 2 weeks it stopped working. I convert the audio with the same parameter than before: "-a:c mp3 -b:a 64k -vol 600"

It says me to use the audio filters, and I consulted the man page of avconv but I can't figure out which I have to use.

Thanks

Finally I fixed it by installing ffmpeg. It solved the probnlem and also solved another problems I had trying to convert another movies. It gives me a better control with some parameters, and also it seems to convert slightly fast and using less CPU.

Thanks (?)
