Maintance of Raspbian

Thu Sep 21, 2017 11:26 am

Hi pals! I am running Raspbian on Raspberry pi 3 since some months as a PC, installing and uninstalling stuff, and I am noticing it starts to lag a little. I know it's raspberry pi fault... I am almost new to linux and don't know how to maintain it clean.

I did the "apt-get purge" and the " apt-get -auto-remove", but I am wondering if there is some other tricky commands I could use.

Many thanks

I wouldn't expect any noticeable slowdown just from installing/removing packages. When you run top, is there anything hopping the CPU?

I could say rabbits or kangaroos, but the Mods might blame me for hopping the thread with silly stuff.
