Pi Top OS Polaris Battery Monitor

Hi. I'm using a Raspberry Pi- Top running Pi-Top OS Polaris. It was running great until we realised the battery monitor wasn't working. It's just a black line. When I hover my mouse over it, it say "No battery found". Can anybody help me with this problem??

Have you posted on the Pi-top forums? Given you've paid for a Pi-top, seems like something they should be providing support for.

The is a thread in the pi top community pages about the lack of battery status, some one has created some software to display the status of the battery by the looks of it.
