One of the raspberry pi's I am using as a Pihole. Easy install and easy to configure. Everything was working fine for a couple of months, until this evening. Suddenly I was unable to login at the Pi-hole adminpage. After some searching it appears my router doesn't see my raspberry pi. It isn't mentioned in the DHCP logs. Strange thing is the raspberry pi is still active with its old ip address. I was able to ssh it and ping the router, and was able to ping it from my laptop. My router has been resetted and I checked the LAN cable. After rebooting the pi via SSH I can't access it anymore by SSH saying ' connection is reset by 192.168.2.8 port 22. I think the most easy solution will be to make a fresh install on the raspberry pi, but I am curious why all of a sudden my raspberry pi or router starts acting funny. Any suggestions or maybe even a fix will be appreciated!

After having a closer look it seems the LAN switch I use seems the problem. So topic can be closed. Thank you
