can i run minecraft server in Pi?

Realistically, No

Way too puny CPU and about 1/16th of the recommended memory.
Don't judge Linux by the Pi.......
I must not tread on too many sacred cows......

Well.. i wanna run the SERVER. not MINECRAFT CLIENT.. possible?

They recommend a 2Ghz + CPU and 4 Gb of Ram for the server. The Pi's CPU is approximately the same power as a 300 Mhz Pentium II and it has 256 Mb of Ram. The client needs something similar + a hunking great GPU.
