Raspberry Pi Wifi Problems

Hello All,
I have a 2 Raspberry Pis. I have a pi2 and and a pi zero w. I have a Canakit Usb Wifi Dongle on my Pi2. I put the password to my network into the UI Wifi manager and it shows up in the wpa_supplicant.conf file. The only problem is that it does not connect to the network. I have tried reflashing the image many times on 2 different computers. I am unable to solve this problem. Please help me.

on rare occasion, I've found the password and/or WiFi channel keep some computers, etc from logging in.

Can you temporarily change channels and password(s)?

Any error messages? What is the result of type "dmesg" in a terminal? ie the last few lines which should contain information about the wifi trying to associate.
