Overheating of BCM43438 WiFi chip

After giving power to my RPi 3 Model B, It loops in the boot phase. Before this problem my pi was frequently overheated and shut itself down. Then this overheating issue become a serious problem even the pi did not turn on properly.
I've realised the overheated part is BCM43438 WiFi chip. It became enough hot to burn my finger after powering on.
Now, I want to ask that is my pi dead or is there any way to resurrect it?

Yes , I plugged radio(nf24l01), some sensors(dht22, ultrasonic distance sensor and luminosity sensor) and sd card module.
Yes, It was working properly in the beginning, then it started to warn me that it was getting low voltage while overheating.

This is an incorrect solution.

Under no normal conditions should the wifi chip ever get hot enough to "burn" your finger. It seems to be that the chip has either suffered mechanical damage or electrical damage due to shorting out/overvolting it.

@OP: Your Pi is probably toast, but if you want to have a go at desoldering a naked IC while saving the board then it's a good opportunity for practice

If the wifi chip is the only thing getting hot then removing it may resuscitate the Pi.

I hope you Pi survived.

If you are able to remove the WiFi IC, and the Pi starts to function, you might also consider replacing the IC with a new one and getting your on-board WiFi back.

There are some really good tutorials on how to replace surface mount iICs. Just be super careful and shield the surrounding components with foil tape.

Power 1A and 0.25A tested, BCM43438 up to 107°c

The Wireless chip on the 3B+ should run pretty cool compared to the other chips on the board (and indeed the whole board itself). Is the wireless active or not really doing anything?
