Using Bluetooth on Raspberry PI 3

Sat Jun 03, 2017 6:46 am

Hello,
I am using PI 3 which have inbuilt bluetooth module. I can pair my device with raspberry pi but after pairing it, when I try to send files from my android phone and do connect on rpi, it shows connection failed- no usable services on this device. so what should i do now. do it require any additional packages to be installed? And what if i want to by pass the pairing option i.e. if i want to connect directly without exchanging the pairing id/pin.
Thanks in Advance

To receive file transfers on your Pi, follow this guide: viewtopic.php?p=963751#p963751.

You only need to pair devices once. It's probably not a good idea to override the security of using a PIN.
