win 10 iot core in noobs?

hi, all,

i used noobs ver 2.4, and i found after i got wifi network connection,
i did not have a os named windows 10 iot core option to install,
currently, noobs ver 2.4 is not support win 10 iot core?
how do i make multiboot in noobs system?

Unfortunately the NoobS documentation is out of date.

Microsoft have made many changes therefore it is probably easier to install Windows 10 IoT Core Insider Preview standalone considering you will need a machine running Windows 10 Desktop Edition to be able to setup and deploy:

NOOBS will only present a list of OSes appropriate for your Pi model.
Win 10 IoT is only available for the Pi2 or Pi3.

I have been beating my head against the wall trying to learn and get Windows 10 IoT running on my Raspberry PI 3B.
I must be missing something somewhere.
I used the IoT Dashboard and load Windows IoT Core on a chip (I have tried several chips) and it just wont boot.
I can put a Clean NOOBS chip and it will boot right up so I know the PI 3B is not the problem.
Where can I get step by step instruction that I can follow where even a knuckle-Head like me can follow?

Please help me with this.

after my pi3 first-time booting with noobs, and connected wifi network,
then i saw two os options only - Raspbian and LibreELEC .
i could not see any other third party images.
and of course, i did install these 2 images correctly.
(i use noobs, not noobs-lite)

It sounds like you're following the install instructions of Microsoft's site rather than using NOOBS. I don't know what their recommended way is, but you can find NOOBS installation instructions here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... n/noobs.md

It sounds like you don't have a network connection. NOOBS only comes with LibreELEC and Raspbian on the card, the rest are downloaded during installation.

Is it connected to the internet when running NOOBS?
Which OSes can you see?

I have a Pi 3 model B+ and want to install the windows 10 iot core.
when i boot from noobs i only can see the options:

but i would like to have the Windows 10 iot core. i already created another micro sd card from the windows iot dashboard but when i put that card into the pi it is not booting.

Can someone help me how i can install the windows 10 iot core on my raspberry pi 3 model B+

Not possible!
Microsoft has not yet updated its Win 10 IOT for the RPI 3B+.

inquire on the Microsoft forum for a timescale for the update, could be months.

I have to 100% the same problem but i will get a MultiBOOT SD with
Raspbian, Windows10 and a Dat Partition. Have a 32GB SD in use.

Since Win10IoT wasn't ready when the 3B+ was launched you're going to have to wait for NOOBS 2.9 (or later) before you'll get it as a "multiboot" component. I'm not sure whether Mr Procount has it in his latest version of PINN yet. At the current time the only option (if it's not in PINN) is a stand-alone SDCard built with the Microsoft beta 3B+ ready version.

I don't think it will need a point release of NOOBS or PINN to have this. But we are waiting for a NOOBS-formatted installation of a version of WinIoT that works with the 3B+ from Microsoft. Once we have that it should be available through both NOOBS and PINN. The current version only works with the pi2 and pi3.

When you install Win10 IoT you are given the choice of the RTM version, or the Windows Insider version.

To use with the 3B+, you must select the Windows Insider version.
Neither version is compatible with the 3A+
