Downgrade php5

Sun Sep 23, 2012 4:07 pm

Hi,

In the mist of doing a full blown upgrade my sdcard took a dump... :(
So I went and bought a new one and back in business...

The problem I have is that after restoring the install of gallery3 I am getting on my apache2 error logs:

child pid 21971 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Some research seems to indicate that is the version of php5 I am using "5.4.4-7" and that the best course of action is to upgrade and worst case scenario downgrade.

I try searching on the raspberry pi repos but only found the current "5.4.4-7" version. Any other place I can find an older version?

Thank You.

What RPi Distro are you using and what versions are you at?

With regards to issues with PHP5 Are you referring to this bug report?

When I enable apache2 debug it spills out a bunch of php segfaults. I was told i could try to disable php5 modules but I only have one and that's php-mysql and is need it.

Did you do any optimizations to the MySQL and apache configurations (adjust memory split) to make them play nicer in the very small environment that the Raspberry Pi has available?
