Can't download Raspian Jessie with pixel

I attempted to download Raspian Jessie with pixel.zip to my MacBook. It started to download but then hung up (Icon did not show a complete white bar, only a white dot).
I tried several times more with no success, despite deleting the file 2017-04-24-raspian-jessie-zip download from downloads folder, and then deleting that file from the trash folder.
Can you please tell me how to remove whatever is blocking my ability to download Raspbian?

I have just a few minutes ago successfully downloaded that 1.5 Gbyte file so the server seems to be running fine. If the problem is at your end it is difficult for anyone else to diagnose.

Try BitTorrent. I'm seeding with a Pi 2.
