I previously had OSMC installed and everything ran beautifully. Pretty much a perfect HTPC set up for me.
But then I wanted to be able to torrent (and a few other things, like web browsing) directly to the Pi's attached hard drives, so I installed Raspbian and then Kodi.
The problem is everything freezes up whenever I try to do anything in Kodi. I tried using VLC media player as well to play back media (not my first choice because I want a library to easily sort through) but even that freezes up and I get audio playing but the screen stays frozen on the first image it played back.
When it freezes, it stays frozen- after 20 minutes or so I end up unplugging the darn thing and restarting it to try again.
So... what are my options? Is there another OS version I can run both ktorrent and kodi, or even some other HTPC kinda dealy bob or is there something else I should install to make this existing installation work smoothly?
