I've 2 pi3s - dist-updated to the same version but they have been worked and have different histories. The issue is that one pi is not populating the resolve.conf file with dns entries when I connect to my network while the other does. I've replicated the wpa_supplicant.conf from the working pi on the problem pi which has made no difference. Wifi connections are provided via dhcpd reservations from the primary network router. Both are connecting via a second router running in AP mode.
I believe that in the course of setting things up I most likely changed something that has created this issue but I have no idea what I should be looking for. Any ideas on where I should be looking to restore the dysfunctional pi so that the /etc/resolve.conf get populated. Currently, if I manually populate the file it is overwritten by subsequent connections to the network or restarts of the computer.
