I'm not super technical, but is it possible for the R-Pi to receive USB 3.0 connectors in a later revision and keep the current size?

Methinks this could be an interesting solution as USB 3 is being paraded as faster than the original SATA speeds...

And, yes, I already used the forum search function and there was no USB 3 posts found.

Not with the current SOC. The reason being that it would just end up being bottleneck'ed by the SOC's only interconnect which is USB 2.0. It would have to happen if/when the board was fitted with a newer SOC.
