BLE Remote controller not working

I can't get (Xiaomi's) BLE Remote controller working. This device has HID profile.
I tried Apple's keyboard and mouse, both working (Need pairing only)
Would anyone tell me how to get this device working?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

BLE HID (HID over GATT) doesn't seem to be working with standard Raspbian. I've seen conflicting reports as to whether it works with an upgraded BlueZ stack.

Thanks for your reply. I don't quite understand why Apple's bluetooth keyboard works but XiaoMi's bluetooth remote control doesn't. They should have the same profile (HID over GATT?).

According to official document, IoT Core supports the following Bluetooth profiles:
1. Human Interface Device Profile HID
2. Radio Frequency Communication RFCOMM
3. Generic Attribute Profile GATT

So, the 'HID' and 'HID over GATT (HOGP)' are different profiles???

Yes. Classic HID is a very different animal than BLE's HID over GATT.

I am engaged in building HID over GATT Devices on Raspberry PI 2 Model B (but with no success till now ) with Raspbian Jessie Lite as OS and BlueZ 5.37 as Bluetooth Stack.I had found few example from BlueZ example code.LINK : https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/bluetoot ... tt-profile . My need is turn my Pi as virtual keyboard for iOS to issue some Hard coded keystroke as HID input report . Please share your though if any .

I am trying the same thing with my Bluetooth LE Remote and my Raspberry Pi Zero.
