Raspberry PI Sense HAT increase acceleration to 100 readings

I have a Raspberry PI sense hat. It only records 10 entries a second for the acceleration. Is there anyway this can be increased to 100?

In the RTIMULib.ini file, looks for the LSM9DS1 settings. You can set the sample rate and filter parameters in there.

OK brill, I'll be programming the solution in NodeRed. Will that work on that platform too?

Depends on what it does. If it's calling rtimulib functions, yes.

I found the file in "/etc" and opened it in leafpad, changed the ini but it says "cant open file to write". Any ideas why?

Use sudo leafpad in an LXTerminal window.

question to kelster101757: did you find out if node-red uses the RTIMULib.ini file ?

other question: i expect it to be the Hz that should be changed ti increase the readings to 100 pr. sec.
I am not at all into electronics, so:
- how can it be that it is different for all movement-sensors?
- And what should be the new values
