Sporadic reboots. XRDP to blame?

Sun Mar 19, 2017 3:36 pm

Hello everyone!

Trying to chase some weird bug.

I run Pi 3 with Raspbian and XRDP. When I connect via XRDP->TightVNC and do some usual (not cpu-hungry tasks), everything works fine.

But sometimes - when starting some heavy app - like Firefox - it goes "boom" - sessions disconnected. Reboot.

At first I had thought its about overclocking, so I defaulted to standard values. The problem is quite elusive -
it can happen at any time. In 5 mins, or 30. But it never happens if Pi is connected to a physical monitor. At least I wasnt
able to replicate it that way. Strange.

Any thoughts? If its hardware, should I stress-test it? If software, maybe some kernel panic msg is written to logs?

Thanks!
