Rom transfer

Fri Feb 24, 2017 7:27 pm

I was having controller issues so it was suggested a try a fresh retropie install. I did that with a new sd card, but the lc I had the roms stored on crashed. Is there a way to copy the roms I had on the old version of retropie to the new?

If you wrote a fresh image then you can't recover the roms that were on it before you wrote the fresh image. You'll have to acquire them again.

I wrote the new image on a separate sd card altogether. I still have the old card with the roms

So this means the data stored in ROM will be erased during a fresh reinstall?
