DL-FLdigi not decoding audio signal

Dear HABbers,

we have a strong audio signal in SDR sharp with two distinct peaks. Having tuned dl-fldigi so that the two lines are aligned with the incoming signal we are getting no text incoming on the green display pane i.e. no data (green or red).

The manual indicates checking the I and Q swapping - not sure what I and Q are but swapping them made no difference to the decoding.

We have had partially decoded signals using a different laptop so I am wondering if it is just a minor setting that needs tweaked. As novices we are faced with a bewildering array of settings and would likely cause more problems than we solve if we did anything with them! The dummies guide is very good but any deviation from the expected outcome leaves us in no mans land.

Does anyone have any guidance about what to check?

p.s the DL -fldigi settings are exactly as stipulated in the Pits manual (I have triple checked!)

Do you have the red cursor lines aligned with the 2 signal bars?
