Find the program that's getting RAM but not freeing it, that's your storage leak.
You've got the monitoring to see when the problem starts. You then need to run something like top or htop (when RAM gets to about 70% used) so you can see which task grows.
Web browsers tend to be memory hogs because they're built for 8GB or 16GB laptops where holding everything in RAM is not a big deal.
