Bluetooth keyboard not working with WiFi

Wed Feb 15, 2017 10:07 pm

Hi,

Just purchased a Raspberry Pi 3 B and I don't appear to able to use a Bluetooth keyboard (using the onboard BT) while the WiFi is turned on. I see this is (or was) a known problem. Is there a fix yet or one imminent?

Cheers,
Paul

I have noticed the same problem that a BT Keyboard with BT Mouse and WiFi does not work. I did some searching and found others who ran into the same problem. When I plugged in a BT dongle I was able to use the keyboard and mouse.

I am also having a problem with maintaining a consistent bluetooth connection for my iPazzPort keyboard when the WiFi adapter is turned on. I have a RPi 3 Model B. I was looking to replace a Roku box with the RPi. But the WiFi/Bluetooth conflicts and lack of web browser make this a poor substitute for a travelling/portable HTMC. Still fun to toy around with.
